Info:
"Sorcerer's Disciple" is the first new music from Causa Sui in four years, and the opening track of their forthcoming full-length, "From The Source". This is one of the band's most ambitious cuts of all time: a groovy zamrock riff is weaved together with floating Santana-esque guitar playing, culminating in a sonic maelstrom worthy of My Bloody Valentine. The album was recorded during months of sessions in their own studio, refining each part gradually through intense explorations, yet keeping room for improvisation and favouring “magic” takes over clinical perfection. The temperament of the music spans white-iron hot & sub-zero chilled with every ebb and flow in between. Recommended for fans of: Goat, Earthless, Brant Bjork, Kikagaku Moyo
