Darla is an independent music label, distributor & online retailer. We're looking for someone to join us working from home in idyllic north San Diego County. You must be a music person with a some level of knowledge and experience in the independent music business, suited to a peaceful, semi-rural southern California lifestyle, a hard working maniac able to gather orders, enter them in QuickbooksPro, pack & ship them like a monkey on crack, be drug free, have an elephant’s memory, manage inventory and do frequent purchase orders from dozens of suppliers, type well, know excel, have valuable contacts and/or projects you can bring to the table, be clean and nice with a dirty sense of humor, be ambitious, conscious and ethical. The work never ends here. There is always more to do. There is plenty of opportunity here for the right someone to make a good and stable living with medical benefits. The more you produce the more you earn. Knowing how to write code to help build on the darla.com web site isn’t expected but would be a big plus. Knowing Japanese and/or Spanish is a plus. Starting salary is more or less in the neighborhood of $40k depending on experience and ability. Can you make more? We sure hope so. How much income can you generate? You can also earn a percentage of income you generate for the company on top of salary. Do you appreciate the quiet of the country with all the crazy world on-line?
